The mission and purpose of the Youth Group Leadership Council is to gather for formation in discipleship, informed discussions about relevant topics, and leadership development. Members commit to praying for peers in the parish, serve and advocate for the group, and promote and participate in our ministries initiatives. The leadership council will meet for 20-30 minutes a month before or after youth group meetings (service hours can be attained here).

Service Leader: The service leaders has the responsibility of attending service saturdays, mission trips, and fish frys. They are to encourage their peers in the youth group and in their schools to attend the events as well. The Service Leader has the opportunity to suggest different ideas for service projects and recommend unique marketing tools to promote volunteer work.

Communication Leader: The Communicaton Leader has the duty to advocate, promote, and encourage peers to attend youth group events. They will work with the Social Media Leader to market events to their peers.

Dicussion Leader: The Discussion Leader is in charge of helping facilite group dicussion. The Dicussion Leader add input into the conversation to help other peers feel confortable talking and sharing. The Dicussion Leader has the opportunity to lead a dicussion and suggest topics of interest for future dicussions.

Social Media Leader: The Social Media Leader has the ability to use their artistic skills to help promote upcoming events. They will have the space to create different post and flyers to be featured on our instagram and in our bulletin.

Prayer Leader: The Prayer Leader leads the group in opening and closing prayer time at Youth Group Meetings. They will be provided with a written prayer, but they will have the opprotunity to say their own prayers if they feel comfortable.
