For more than 20 years, volunteers from Butler area churches and the community at large have come together to prepare over 1,000 meals for a special Thanksgiving dinner.
Turkey * Mashed Potatoes And Gravy * Green Beans * Stuffing * Cranberry Sauce * Roll * Dessert
This year, we are looking forward to the return of a community, sit-down community style meal at St. Peter Catholic Church Hall * 127 Franklin St. * Butler * 16001
The Thanksgiving Community Meal will be on Thursday, November 23, from 12pm to 1pm at St. Peter Church.
As organizers make plans for this year’s Thanksgiving Community Dinner, they are emphasizing the need for volunteers to get their clearances in order as soon as possible.
The dinners will be served at St. Peter Catholic Church (All Saints Parish), but this is an
event with participation by volunteers from the community at large as well as from churches of different denominations in the Butler City area and beyond.
Volunteers from the community at large will need to get clearances through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
All parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh – including All Saints Parish – require volunteers
to have Safe Environment clearances.
If you have your clearances already – from your workplace or another organization (such as your church or school), - please sign up by clicking here , or contact Sue Cadwallader, All Saints Parish - St. Peter Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler, PA 16001.
