For more than 20 years, Butler area churches have provided free Thanksgiving meals to anyone who asked. In 2018, volunteers provided over 1,600 meals!
St. Peter’s Catholic Church’s hall is the place to go for a sit-down or takeout dinner. Volunteers also worked out of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church’s parish hall to deliver 1,200-plus meals to about 300 homes last year.
Meals on Wheels recipients and seniors living in local high-rises were among the recipients.
