We were informed by a parishioner of a text message and or emails posing as Fr. Kevin.  

These messages are scams!  This is NOT Father Kevin.  

Some of the messages say that Father Kevin needs a quick favor or for a few minutes of your time, and then may ask for you to text him back.  Other messages ask for a gift card.  Father Kevin will never text, email, or call you asking for gift cards, nor would any of our clergy or staff. 
   
We spoke to the State Police in Butler about such contact, and they say do not respond or even acknowledge the sender.   If you happen to receive a phone call, hang up.  If you receive an email or text, please delete the messages immediately and do NOT click on any links in the messages.  

In any case, never offer any personal information.
