We were informed by a parishioner of a text message they received that was claiming to be Father Kevin asking for Apple gift cards.       

This is a scam!  This is NOT Father Kevin.  Father Kevin will never text, email, or call you asking for gift cards, nor would any of our clergy or staff. 
   
We spoke to the State Police in Butler about such contact, and they say do not respond or even acknowledge the sender.   If you get a phone call, just hang up, and if you get an email, please delete the messages immediately and do NOT click on any links in the messages.  In any case, never offer any personal information.
