Sister Beth Carrender Passes AwaySister Beth Carrender, a beloved member of the Benedictine Sisters of Pittsburgh peacefully passed away on November 30, 2024, leaving a legacy of faith, service, and compassion. Born in 1951 in Lexington Missouri, Beth was the second of four children to Floyd and Theadora Carrender. She is survived by her siblings, Chuck, Paula Kay, and Kent (Vicki) as well as her nephew, Trent, who cherished her deeply.Condolences can be sent to:

Christmas Pageant Is In Need of Participants
The annual Christmas Pageant, held at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler, needs participants for the play. Currently, 6 children signed up, although a minimum of 10 children, plus a reader, are needed. An ultimate goal would be to have
20-25 children in the play. Still needed are the roles of Mary, Joseph, Innkeeper, shepherds, angels, Angel of the Lord, and the Wise Men. There are no lines (except the narrator), only 1 practice, and costumes are provided. Click here for more details!

It's time again for the Angel Trees in each of our churches! When you see a tree, grab a tag, buy the suggested gifts, and then return the gifts by the due dates listed below. Each tag will have a specific gift idea for members of our community, with information given to us through several local charities.
